Siriraj Hospital Saves More Lives with Medical Imaging Solution Developed on and Powered by NVIDIA

Thailand’s biggest hospital is first in SEA to apply chest X-ray imaging using NVIDIA Clara NVIDIA today announced that Thailand’s Siriraj Hospital is the first hospital in Southeast Asia to deploy two NVIDIA DGX A100 systems for medical research and clinical applications. With NVIDIA hardware powering NVIDIA Clara software, the hospital developed a chest X-ray imaging solution for tuberculosis that greatly reduces the time needed to analyse scans and expedites decision-making to save more lives. As Thailand’s largest government hospital, Siriraj Hospital has more than 2,500 beds and caters to over 8,000 outpatients daily. KCFI AND PCTA “RENEWS VOW” TO SUPPORT LEARNERS AMID PANDEMIC

Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) and the Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association, Inc. There’s a bright side to being stuck at home. The global lockdowns spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic have given many people the rare opportunity to finish their personal projects. For a game developer with zero programming experience in the Philippines, it was a videogame about the Vietnam War which took almost 20 years to complete. “I was always interested in history and the Vietnam War in particular,” says game developer Tiger Yan. “I started creating The ‘Nam: Vietnam Combat Operations way back in 2003 but work and life were more important, so the project was mothballed for 17 years.
